We’ve just completed a day and half of additional filming on “Love/Loss”. The shots were basically second unit material; wide scenics of countryside, village life and buildings. We were quite lucky with the weather, in that it matched that of our main filming fortnight. Attempts to get a great daybreak shot failed, as we had our first day of mist! Luckily it cleared by about 9am, and we still got some moody mist-strewn shots of the village.
These shots will either be used in the title sequence, or to break up scenes during the film and to establish new locations. None of them involved our cast of actors, although Simon, Mark and myself managed to sneak into a couple of shots as ‘extras’…
We have one more full day of pick-ups scheduled later this month, and then we should have everything. However, if we find duringthe edit that we still need a couple of specific shots, then we’ll be back out to get these.
